Today (sept 8th 2011) in Trafalgar Square in London many paralympians are demonstrating their exciting sports such as blind football and wheelchair basketball. The ticket buying lottery starts tomorrow for tickets to the paralympic games which run immediately after the olympic games 29th August to 9th Sept 2012.

This time the paralympics are set to be bigger than ever and get a much higher profile in the media. This is a very exciting time for the athletes taking part in the games and also for the local teams such as the wheelchair basketball team Leeds Spiders
